Hi Colin
Thats good to know and I will reference this if ever I find a lift issue in future.
However i’ll back to back test a regulator over a fixed tap and win on the savings and payback 9 times out of 10 without exposing the circuit to grid surge and sag.
Despite the fact [...]

Hi Colin
Think were referencing the same point.
Within name plate operating parameters the voltage does not significantly affect the “pull up” and “pull out torque of a motor significantly and you have just exactly identified my reasons to primarilly recommend a piece of control with the ability to adapt to a variable supply.,however step [...]

Saw a product that made similar claims and I had it that confirmed by a particle physicist in theory it works and therefore it should do in the physical world.
But in theory Bumble bees cant fly!
Whether It does or not I will let others validate the technology but I think questioning the validity of Voltage [...]

Voltage optimisation works well in most buildings but there are some very big benefits being entirely overlooked /under valued.
VSD’s will not make measurable savings with VO – However the life of VSD’ s can be significantly extended as voltage fluctuation is main cause of VSD’s failing.
Its true that heavy inductive loads fair extremely well with [...]
